Daikomyosai Stockholm 2025

Twenty-five years ago, Rikard Sundelius became the second person in Sweden to receive the 10th Dan in Bujinkan.
The first was Sveneric Bogsäter. This promotion took place during the Daikomyosai in Japan in the year 2000. For many years, the Daikomyosai was held annually in early December to celebrate Hatsumi Sensei’s birthday.
According to the story, when the recommendations from the other ten 10th Dans had been reviewed and the diploma was ready, Hatsumi Sensei chose to write his own birthday, December 2nd (as recorded in the Hombu records), as the official date on the document, so that they would “share a birthday.”
